Status of characters and membership

Caitline - not going to bother ending. She will be dead by June, for the reset.

River - will play up to her death/retirement. She will be out of play by June, for the reset.

Cat - unsanctioned, not continuing to play.

Zahira - unsanctioned, not continuing to play. This one hurts.

Smoke - continuing to play, so will remain sanctioned till 31 October.

Angel - not active, not playing her in the Independent domain.

Membership. Expires on 31 October 2009. Not renewing. If I'm not going to be able to play how I would like, and have my needs/desires sacrificed for the 'many', then there is no reason I should. Time to go.

I'm angry, but i'm not going to rant. I'll save that for when I join the 'bitter ex-cammies brigade'.

I know I've burnt my bridges with a lot of people.

Caitline - is a pitty we never actually got to play together. I hope you won't feel betrayed if I take what we had and see if I can do it post-reset.

River - this perhaps sucks the most of all in the re-set, as what little we had had so much potential and my lack of planning and angst kept me from coming to games and playing that potential out. I will miss this - and it has made me think how impossible it is to re-create Wairua with the re-set - and I wonder if it's not just worth coming up with another character altogether - and then start thinking what is the point? All very depressing.

Honestly, while sad that you won't be re-newing - I could see this coming anyway. I am very happy to have met you though the Cam and Steve - and I hope that unlike the cam friendship, the normal friendship will endure.

I believe Shannon too has enjoyed being friends through that connection - and both of us are all to happy to do coffee or have a BBQ anytime with you - so don't be a stranger :)

I feel your pain. Leaving the Cam was one of the best decisions I made this year so far. What the Cam is, isn't what was shared with me when I was convinced to join. So, I've moved on and am working on other things that I find I value a lot more.

I wish you the best in what ever you decide to do post-Cam and do hope to stay in touch and remain friends.

I feel your pain. My membership expires in December. I nearly forgot to renew this past year. Next year, I might completely forget. In any case, I might be joining you in the bitter ext cammies brigade.
